The Little Bike Project
We are raising money to buy children’s cycling equipment & donate it to a school in our community, so that children without bikes can learn to cycle.
In the UK, 1 in 5 children can’t ride a bike[1] and only 2% of children cycle to school[2].
One of Bikeability’s key findings is that providing cycles makes it easier for children from underrepresented groups, particularly those living in low-income households, to access Bikeability[3].
Our Crowdfunder is now closed. If you would like to support this project, please email wheelgoodvibes@gmail.com
The facts around the need:
There is strong evidence that cycling to school age 10, tracks to cycling at 16 and beyond. People who take up cycling through Bikeability continue to cycle because of the confidence it instils and because cycling becomes normal and habitual. Help us make this accessible to more children in our community.

Enough money to get our first few bikes for the little bike project! This was where the project began…
